October 20, 1993, The Newton Record-3A Mr. Boler resided in Union and was a Union. Survivors include his wife, Margean Boler of Greenwood; a brother, Gordon Boler of Boler of Hurley; a sister, Burma Faye grandchildren. Pallbearers were Allen Boler, Charles skell, Lavon Driskell, Mike Smith, Mark Claude Ozborn. Honorary pallbearers were members of his Josie Smith member of First Baptist Church in of Union; a son, Dr.

Mike Boler Union; a half brother, Henry Clay Driskell of Union; and three Bounds, Ricky Boler, Larry DriSmith, Thomas Charles Smith and Sunday School class. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 19, 1993 at 4 P.M. at Barham Chapel in Newton County for Mrs. Josie Smith, 71 year old resident of Decatur who passed away at Rush Newton Hospital on October 17. Rev.

Ray Bates and Rev. Phil Kitchens officiated. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. She was a member of the Mt.

Zion Congregational Methodist Church and had owned and operated the Newton Scating Rink for 27 years. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her late husband, Mr. Sam Smith. She is survived by one daughter, Jimmie Ann Wigington of Decatur; son-inlaw, Rennie Wigington of Decatur; one grandson Gary Wigington; one brother George Smith of Lexington, TX; one sister Kathleen Barnes of Sacramento, one sister-in-law Gladys Reeves of Decatur and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were: Paul Frink, Brian Frink, Wayne Frink, Bernard Rigdon, Charles Walton and Cleveland Smith. Skip Lynn Funeral services for Mr. Skip Lynn, 58, were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 9, 1993, from the Ott Lee Chapel in Forest. Rev.

Jerry Lundy and Rev. Martin Williams officiated. Interment was made in the Harperville Cemetery. Mr. Lynn passed away on Thursday, Oct.

7 at the S.E. Lackey Hospital in Forest following a sudden illness. A native of Pennsylvania, he had lived in Scott County since 1979. He retired from U.S. Air Force in 1979 after 26 years of service, and the last several years had been an instructor at East Central Community College.

He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Forest. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lynette Lynn of Forest; two sons, George Lynn, Jr. and Steven Lynn, both of Bloomsburg, PA; five daughters, Suzzanne Nazar of Berwick, PA, Cindy Fisher and Alison Jumper, both of Catawissa, PA, Linda Derr of Berwick, PA and Laurie McCraw of Sebastopol; one step-daughter, Lori McNeil of Homewood; two step-sons, Tony Heumier of Forest and Barry Heumier of Decatur; two brothers, Norman Lynn and Charles Lynn, both of Berwick, PA and two sisters, Edna Yeager and Berna Ash, both of Berwick, PA and 18 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Billy Mac Stubbs, Sonny Stubbs, Johnnie Brittain, Johnny Ladd, Jack Fortenberry, Floyd Weaver and Lamar Steen.

Edwin J. Fulton Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1993, at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel in Union at 2:00 p.m. for Mr. Edwin J.

Fulton, 82, who died on Sunday, Oct. 17 at the V.A. Center in Jackson. Rev. Terrell Suggs officiated.

Burial followed in Union Cemetery. Mr. Fulton was a manager for a number of years for Mississippi Power Company. He resided in Union and was a member of First Baptist Church in Union. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Vance Fulton of Union; a daughter, Kathy Lewis of Hattiesburg; three brothers, Raymond Fulton of Long Beach, Hoye Fulton of Lena and Wilson Fulton of Biloxi; three sisters, Mrs.

Mary Alice Mobley of Meridian, Mrs. Dean Yarbrough of Meridian and Mrs. Hazel Westlake of Meridian; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Haskel Vance, Guy Tucker, Thomas Humphreys, Joe Capperton, Murry James and Fred Allen Hollingsworth. Norman Arthur officiating. Burial followed in Jasper County. Mrs. Williams died on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at Rush Hospital Newton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Williams and brother, Marion Thorne. A native of Newton County, Mrs. Williams was a homemaker. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Hickory and was an organ donor. Survivors include a son, Bill Johnson Williams, Sr.

of Hickory; a sister, Mavis Holt of Newton; three brothers, Hancel Thorne and Lamar Thorne, both of Hickory and James Henry Thorne of Meridian; two grandchildren and seveal nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Ray Williams, George Williams, Jack Williams, Gary Thorne, James Thorne and Malford Holt. Memorials may be made to Gideon International. Buford Boler Services were held on Friday, Oct. 15, 1993, at 11 a.m.

at First Baptist Church in Union for Mr. Buford Boler, 77, who died on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at Laird Hospital. The Rev. Terrell Suggs and Rev.
